In Ontario, the practice of psychotherapy is regulated by two colleges: the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Ontario Social Worker/Social Service Worker College (OSWSSW). Professionals registered with these colleges are legally and ethically authorized to provide psychotherapy services. The CRPO designates them as Registered Psychotherapists (RP) or RP (Qualifying), while the OSWSSW uses the designation Registered Social Worker (RSW) for those permitted to practice psychotherapy.

Psychotherapy primarily involves talk-based therapy with the goal of enhancing individuals' mental health and overall well-being. These professionals work with individuals, couples and groups. The core of psychotherapy lies in the collaborative relationship between the RP or RP (Qualifying) and the client, where both parties work together to facilitate positive changes in the client's thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and social functioning.

While psychotherapists who are members of the CRPO or the OSWSSW are regulated practitioners, insurance coverage for their services can vary. It is advisable for individuals to carefully review their insurance policies or contact their insurance providers to understand the extent of coverage for psychotherapy services provided by RSWs or RPs. This allows individuals to make informed decisions regarding the financial aspects of seeking psychotherapy.

I’m a therapist passionate about creating a space where people feel safe exploring the parts of themselves that often go unspoken. My work focuses on sex therapy, trauma, and topics that are often seen as taboo. With both personal experience and professional training, I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges like ADHD, sexual health, and the lasting effects of trauma, guiding them toward greater understanding and self-acceptance.

My mission is to help you rediscover your voice and create a life that feels fulfilling and aligned with who you are. Whether it’s working through the weight of shame or building a deeper connection with yourself and others, I believe every step forward is a victory worth celebrating.

I am a cisgender, bisexual, european, and neurospicy woman. I am also a survivor of childhood trauma and someone who understands the importance of being seen and heard. My own experiences of feeling dismissed and overlooked inspire my commitment to providing a supportive and validating environment for my clients.

These personal joys fuel the compassion and energy I bring to my practice, ensuring that every session feels personal, collaborative, and uniquely tailored to you.

About Giselle

I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complexities of sexuality, intimacy, and self-esteem—both as individuals and in their relationships. Whether it’s exploring your identity, working through intimacy challenges, or addressing the lingering effects of trauma, I’m here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can truly express yourself and work toward the life you want.

My experience spans working with survivors of sexual abuse, individuals facing sexual deviancy and offending behaviours, as well as those navigating addiction, and relationship struggles. I believe in the power of rehabilitation and creating meaningful change through honest, compassionate support. Together, we’ll explore your story, tackle the tough moments, and find ways to move forward that align with your values and goals.

I grew up in Ontario, Canada, and am now based in Cayman Islands, while continuing to work with clients in Ontario. My journey into therapy began with supporting children with developmental delays and advocating for family harmony and safety, and I’ve since shifted my focus to adults. My work with the Cayman Islands Prison Service gave me invaluable insight into the challenges people face and the importance of meeting clients where they are—without judgment.

I’m a straightforward and open-minded therapist who values creating a safe and welcoming space. When I’m not in session, I love spending time in nature, reflecting on life’s bigger questions, and connecting with the people who matter most to me. Therapy with me is about honesty, warmth, and growth—I’ll help you uncover what’s holding you back and work with you to move toward healing and self-acceptance.

People I Work With

Healing from Sexual Trauma & Abuse: Survivors of sexual abuse or human trafficking often struggle with lasting effects such as trust issues, anxiety, and challenges in forming intimate relationships. Addressing these impacts is vital to reclaiming a sense of safety and rebuilding self-worth.

Understanding Sexual Deviancy & Offending Behaviors: Those dealing with sexual deviancy or offending behaviours may feel isolated or overwhelmed by the patterns they’ve developed. Exploring the root causes of these behaviours in a non-judgmental space is essential for meaningful change and rehabilitation.

Overcoming Sexual Addiction: Sexual behaviours or pornography addiction can disrupt many aspects of life, including relationships and emotional well-being. Working toward healthier coping mechanisms and a path to recovery can bring lasting change and a renewed sense of control.

Navigating Intimacy & Relationship Struggles: Intimacy issues—whether emotional or sexual—often stem from unresolved pain, fear of vulnerability, or past trauma. Finding ways to rebuild trust and intimacy is an important step in fostering healthier, more fulfilling connections.

Building Self-Esteem & Embracing Body Image: Struggles with low self-esteem and body image can affect how one relates to themselves and others. Fostering a positive self-image and a deeper connection to the body is crucial for overall well-being and self-acceptance.

Rehabilitation & Personal Growth: For those in recovery from addiction, facing incarceration, or looking to break free from unhealthy patterns, finding the support to rebuild a life based on purpose and self-worth is essential for long-term change.

About Ryan

I specialize in helping men build confidence and navigate the often-overlooked connection between how they see themselves, their mental health, and their sexuality. I help men reconnect with themselves and understand how their sense of masculinity and confidence ties into their personal and sexual lives.

This includes addressing emotional disconnection and creating a safe space where men can explore their relationship with their own masculinity and place in the world. I also specialize in helping men navigate relationship challenges, such as communication issues, infidelity, and navigating specific relationship stages.

I understand that many men find it hard to open up and be vulnerable with another man, and I’m here to challenge that. Together, we’ll break down those barriers and foster a sense of trust and openness. Whether it’s overcoming self-doubt, addressing fears of inadequacy, or understanding how past experiences shape your sense of self, I’m here to create a space where you can have honest conversations about the challenges that hold you back. My focus also includes helping men improve emotional regulation, set boundaries, and tackle relationship challenges – especially for those who thrive with structure and direct support.

If therapy feels intimidating or unnecessary, that’s understandable—many of my clients feel the same way at first. My approach is straightforward, mindful, and nonjudgmental, offering practical tools to build confidence, find clarity, and strengthen relationships, starting with the one you have with yourself. Having faced my own challenges with confidence, emotional regulation, and identity, I’ve learned the value of honest reflection, intentional growth, and creating systems that support resilience, even in overwhelming times.

As a cisgender, heterosexual white man with Italian roots, I understand firsthand how deeply culture and tradition shape who we are and how we see ourselves. Growing up, I felt the weight of expectations around what it means to be a “man” and how to show up in the world. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the pressures men face when it comes to embracing vulnerability and challenging the societal norms that often hold us back. I know how hard it can be to step outside those boxes, and I’m here to help you do just that in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me staying active, exploring the outdoors, or experimenting in the kitchen with recipes inspired by my Italian background. My therapy style is relational, authentic, and supportive. I’ll challenge you to push beyond your comfort zone and confront what’s holding you back, while also walking alongside you as you build a life of confidence, purpose, and fulfillment.

About Jennifer

I’m a therapist who’s all about helping you navigate the messy and unavoidable real stuff—like grief, trauma and hormonal health, and how it all ties into sex and sexuality. Whether it’s grieving the death of someone you love, coping with the transitions of your hormonal journey such as perimenopause or PCOS, I’m here to walk through it with you.

I believe healing doesn’t have to look perfect, and it’s not about fitting into anyone else’s timeline. It’s about creating a space where you can just be yourself, work through the tough stuff, and start reconnecting with what really matters.

I’m a white, queer, cisgender woman with Irish and Scottish roots. I’ve lived through my own share of challenges such as the sudden death of both parents, from navigating PCOS to figuring out parenthood while balancing all the feelings that come with it. Those experiences shape how I show up for you—real, down-to-earth, and always ready to meet you where you are.

Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me with my nose buried in a book. I’m an avid reader who loves diving into new ideas and stories that challenge the way I see the world. I also enjoy spending time with my little one, baking (sometimes successfully!), and soaking up the little moments that bring joy. Therapy with me is relaxed and down to earth but will also create real movement. I’ll meet you where you are and help you carve out a space to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace.

Coping with grief and trauma’s impact on sexuality: Losing someone or experiencing trauma can make it hard to feel connected to yourself or your partner, affecting your desire and intimacy.

Managing hormonal shifts (perimenopause, PCOS) and intimacy: Hormonal changes can mess with your mood, energy, and sex drive, making it challenging to stay connected or feel intimate.

Rebuilding sexuality after trauma: After trauma, it can be tough to feel comfortable or confident in your own sexuality. Rebuilding that connection takes time and care.

Balancing parenthood with emotional struggles: Being a parent while dealing with grief, trauma, or hormonal changes is tough. It can affect your ability to connect emotionally and physically with your partner.

Navigating body image concerns and sexual desire: Changes in your body, whether from hormones or life stages like pregnancy, can make you feel less confident, which impacts how you feel about sex.

Coping with emotional fluctuations and relationship challenges: Emotional ups and downs, whether from hormones or grief, can make it hard to maintain a healthy relationship and feel connected to your partner.

Healing at your own pace, without the pressure of perfection: Healing doesn’t need to be perfect or happen on someone else’s timeline. It’s about finding your own pace and giving yourself space to grow.

Cultural Barriers to Therapy: Many people come from backgrounds where therapy is seen as taboo or misunderstood. This can make it hard to feel comfortable asking for help, especially when mental health isn’t openly discussed in their culture.

Healing from Sexual Trauma: After experiencing sexual trauma, it can be tough to reconnect with your body or feel comfortable with intimacy. Feelings of shame or fear might get in the way of enjoying healthy relationships or embracing your sexuality.

Cultural Expectations About Relationships: People often face pressure to follow traditional beliefs about relationships and sexuality. When personal desires don’t align with cultural expectations, it can lead to confusion or feeling isolated.

Integrating Spirituality and Sexuality: Many struggle to bring their sexual identity and spiritual beliefs together. Exploring sexuality as a sacred part of life helps create harmony between these two important aspects of self.

Dealing with Shame About Sexuality: Feelings of shame or guilt about sexuality can be deeply rooted in cultural norms. Releasing that shame is key to embracing an authentic, healthy relationship with oneself.

Balancing Identity and Relationships: It’s common to feel torn between cultural, sexual, and spiritual identities, which can cause tension in relationships. Finding a way to bring these parts of yourself together leads to more peaceful and fulfilling connections.
